Winter clothes

Hi Feb mommas! Do you think it is worth buying a proper winter clothes for your newborn?

I'm asking because my daughter was born in Feb 2013 and we had a lovely snow suit for her size (0-3 months) but she was too small for straight away and when it was ok on her it wasn't that cold any more. I live in south of England and I'm never sure what to expect weather-wise.

I have been getting my clothes at flea markets. Can't beat the prices. I got a fleece winning the pooh with hood, mittens and feet for $3.00. If she can't wear it then I don't mind.

I am also in the uk. I will wait till the baby is born. With my last we bought all new born clothes and had to go and buy tiny baby clothes as she was born early and new born was too big. It is ok with most things as they will grow into it, but as you said snowsuit will just be a waste.

Hi I'm from the UK. Due 14th Feb :-)  so excited. I'm having a girl but have 2 boys. I was wondering the same as you as by the time they fit it will be spring x
