I breastfed my son for 16 months, and i went through a period of dropping weight so fast to gaining a little. Somehow during breastfeeding i got into a point where i felt like i would eat alot, ill get hungry breastfeeding my son. But it did help me loose weight in the beginning especially trying to get used to my babys routine and not sleeping well i felt like i hardly had time to eat

With all but one of my pregnamcies, I lost all the baby weight with in 2 months with breastfeeding. The last baby I breastfeed and my body refused to drop anything. I nursed for 10/11 months and as soon as I stopped, I dropped 22 lbs with in 3 months. I'm due in 3 weeks and I'm actually reluctant to nurse again in fear that I won't loose any weight. Selfish, I know, But honest.

With my first, i breastfeed for 8 months, but i went back to my prepregnancy weight which was 115. I just dont remember how long it took, sorry. It was 6 years ago. But everyone is different, idk if youll drop the weight but it sure does help.

I breastfed for 3 months and couldnt loose weight in that time at all even though I was exercising and eating healthy. It was like my body held onto the extra weight whilst I was feeding my little gir. As soon as I stopped I dropped a stone and lost the other stone Id put on during the pregnancy with diet and exercise in 9 months postpartum before I got pregnant again! Hoping to BF longer this time milk dried up as I developed a thyroid issue! So BF to loose weight isnt true for everyone!! Good luck though xx
