Has a membrane sweep worked for you.
Hey. I am 38wk4days just had my membranes swept and really hoping that it starts something for me. I am already dilated to 2cm and 80%effaced. But so anxious to meet my little girl. Has anyone had this procedure and gone into labor within the 48 hours they say?
It worked for me. Water broke days later and my baby girl is here and so perfect.
Yes it was uncomfortable but after labor pains I would not call it pain.

I had this done today and I'm 39 weeks 90% effaced and 2 cm dilated. Hope it does work I can't wait to meet my little man
