labor?
What was your labor like? How did you know it was starting?
Ive been cramping but i have yet to lose my mucus plug and they never stay. Also when doctor checked me on Tuesday i wasn't dilated but my cervix was shortened
I start feeling some cramping around 6:00 pm, ate dinner, watched some TV, and the cramping started getting a little stronger. Took a shower around 7:00, cramps died down but I started timing them. After an hour of timing them they were about 5 min apart and 40 sec long. Pain was like a bad a period cramp, but then it went away after each contraction. Headed to hospital, got there at 9:30, walked in & got checked and was 8cm. I couldn't believe it. Pain really started kicking in once admitted. Like full on can't breathe, move, or think kind of pain. Got epidural (didn't even feel it go in) & baby arrived at 12:55. Recovery has been harder & more painful then labor. I'd rather do labor again than go thru recovery pain.
