Is anybody buying maternity clothes yet? I am not really showing but looking/feeling fat and my clothes make me feel even fatter cuz they cutCuts and puncture wounds into me and make me uncomfortable. I hate to spend alot but I live in the middle of NOWHERE and the nearest wal-mart is 60 miles RT! so I have to shop online but I don't want huge things for 9 months ectAbortion - elective or therapeutic Acute cytomegalovirus (cmv) infection Acute hiv infection Adenoid removal Adrenalectomy Advanced care directives Anorectal fistulas Aortic dissection Appendectomy Appendectomy - series Artery cut section. I am looking for some stuff to last that I can wear now. I had some nice things from my last pg but my mother threw them out!!! I could kill her I feel so frustrated, hot, bloated and emotional and I cry over the sillyest things! Everywhere else in the world they have those new and used storres that sell cheap but not here. I bought a few things from the motherhood store online and they are a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys spendy I refuse to pay $25.00 for each top! Any suggestions? I hope I'm not the only one in this not showing but definately not my usual size phase! My panties make me feel like an ox....sob...
I live 2 hours from a maternity store too. I am 10 weeks now, and we have planned an all day shopping trip to the big city when I am around 15 weeks, 5 weeks from now. In the mean time I am wearing skirts that are my size, but that have elastic/spandex in them so they are stretchy and conform to my expanind waist. Also I loop a rubber band around my buttons to give my pants an extra couple of inches.
I have been doing my shopping at kmart and at target. I don't like the target pants at all. They cut into my waste just like my regular clothes do. Kmart has pants that come up over the belly and are alot more comfortable. They are limited in color selection though. I spent 118.00 last week there and I got 6 pairs of bottoms and three shirts. Not bad at all. the only thing I hate about the shirts is they each have a stork symbol on them. They aren't very descreet. I also liked the t-shirts at target just not the pants. Old navy also has some cute stuff.
I completley understand where your coming from... I just feel chubby in everything i put on right now : ( Im 11w3d and already using rubberbands to make my pants fit and I dont want to buy bigger clothes yet, but im pretty sure the rubberbands arent going to work for much longer.
I actually got a pair of Old Navy pants and a Motherhood top from our Goodwill! I love buying books from them and while I was in there I thought I would look and see if they have a maternity section. It's not big but they had some cute stuff, some still with tags for $3.00 each!
We have a store called Once Upon A Child around here that has all kinds of consignment stuff cheap that is nice. You might try a baby consignment shop in your area as well.
I would definitely try to find a thrift store or a goodwill store near you. I was lucky enough to have an older sister that gave me cloths years ago. I kept them and am using them now. It might be worth it to make a trip to wal-mart. The cloths are cheap and you might find some good shorts ...jeans...etc. that have a waistline that will grow with you.
Good Luck!
