AHHH.....running out of time

I just realized tonight that we need to get baby Emma's room cleared out and ready...right now it is packed full...pretty much being our storage shed since we don't really have one and.  I was looking at the calender and saw that this weekend and next are the only weekends we have left to get this done since I am having a shower on the 26th.  I really need to have that room cleared out and ready to add gifts to.  If anyone has theirs even part way cleaned out or ready please post pictures and let me know so that I will have some motivation to get mine done...lol

My little man's room is completly done, it has been for a while.  I'm just waiting for my friend to finish a hand made quilt that is going to go on the other wall.  I have pictures posted on my profile.  You better get started soon.

rachie.. Mine has been partially done for some time, but my pics are pretty old. I really need to take new ones and post them. I'll try to get around to that this weekend. Although my babyshower is this afternoon, so it will probably look like a hurricane hit after tonight. Mine is painted and decorated with most of the furniture. I am doing the whole conservation of money thing too. So, my crib and the baby changing table match not on purpose. The changing table was given to me and it just happened to match the crib I bought. My rocking chair is a hand me down of four generations. It is a honey oak where as the crib and chaning table are more of a maplish color. What isn't in the pics yet is my dresser which is white. I got it for 20$ though, so you can't beat that. I figure when baby gets a little older and isn't as destructive (I'm thinking past the draw and color on everything stage which is what college?) that we'll get a better dresser, etc to match the room. The crib is a 4-in-one though. It can be a crib, toddler bed, day bed, and then a full size bed. Very sturdy too unlike some of these 3 and 4-in-ones that you can get virtually anywhere. The crib was my one big splurge. I bought it from a US company, its made of real wood, and when you shake the crib it does not give at all.

I'm just getting started on mine. Just had it painted yesterday infact! It is yellow on the top of the walls and just a white on the bottom. The bottom half is all wain scotted (however you spell that) :)

Now I am anxious to get the crib etc in there but dh is in Australia for his sisters wedding and we live in Canada. I need help moving the stuff! I feel so helpless and hate relying on other people to help me out :(

Our room was full of cr@p too.. :)   It's been just moved into my stepsons room while the painting took place. Not sure what to do with it all now! :(  We actually need all the stuff! It was our office! I have the computer set up on the livingroom table... ;)

I'm hoping this weekend I will be able to get some headway on that room and I will take some pics and post them. I know my room won't be the cutest nusery that is for sure. I'm trying to make use of 2nd hand items and old dressers and save the money for the toddler years... I'm definitely no Martha Stewart either. I have to wait for my sister to come over for that! :)
