Feeling sick after Glucose Tolerance Test

I just had my glucose tolerance test (the 3 hr one because I failed the 1st one), and I was fine during the test, towards the end I got restless and cold. But about an hour after it was all finished I have gotten very very nauseous and have a horrible headache. I feel so sick it's unbelievable!! I just want to know whether it is normal to feel really sick after to test? I have eaten, I thought that would help. Has this happened to anyone? Does it mean that I may have gestational diabetes?

I got my results and it turns out that I don't have GD, everything was normal! So now I am baffled at why I felt so sick - and I am still a little sick and fatigued. Oh well, if it doesn't go away I'll have to see a doc.

Good luck with your test!! Hope you get the results you want!

I have the same feeling.  Too many diabetics in my family  :(

I guess we'll get results of the 3 hour test tomorrow.
Good luck to you!

I felt kind of out of it after my 3 hour test.  I think that fasting along with 4 blood draws can do that to you.

I hope you are feeling better.
