counting days and weeks???

i have what may be a pretty dumb question but here goes...so when i went to the u/s appt they had told me at that point i was 8 weeks 2 days...now i know that there are 7 dasy in a week obviously but how exactly do these days get counted...like does it go 8 weeks 6days then next day 9 weeks or does it goes 8 weeks 7 days then 9 weeks...as well as do u count 8 weeks then next day 8 weeks one day or just 8 weeks then 8 weeks 2 days...i know it sounds pretty simple and silly of me to ask but im being serious..lol..can anyone clarify for me??thanx

Kash12 is right, if you are 8 weeks 7days you are actually 9 weeks. I am 10 weeks and 4 days, every monday I go up a week. So, maybe it will easier to remember that every thursday is your one week anniversary too.

Well 8w7d is techically 9 w.. so thats how I count it...
Pardom me ladies if I am wrong...
Similarly..If u r 8w today..u'll be 8w1d tomorrow... until u hit 8w6d. the next day to that will be 9 w..
