worried im having another miscarriage

Well about 2 days ago I started havin tiny cramps but conviced myself that it was the normal ones.  Then hubby and I had sex yesterday and lastnight I had a tiny bit of light pink/brownish discharge which I figured was from sex...but then this morning I woke up still having cramps which at this point are similar to weak menstral cramps.  They also kinda feel like I just need to go to the bathroom which is just what they felt like with the last miscarrige.  My last miscarriage the cramps were WAY worse but I am still freaking out.  Hubby and DS aren't here, they were camping lastnight, so I am waiting on a call back from the oncall nurse and then I am probably going to go to the ER and get checked out as soon as they get home in a few minutes.  Please pray for me, I am so upset but I know that everything is done according to God's will and I have faith in that.  If we do lose this baby I dont think I will ever try again.  I am praying the pain is just from an infection or something.

glad to know there's no spotting Rachie. Yes I would recommend staying hydrated ... one of my friend went to ER at 5 months with bad cramping.. and they just asked her to sip is cold water with ice chips ... seems she was just dehydrated...

Wishing u well!

They tested my HCG levels, I peed in a cup, and they listened for the babies heartbeat. All of which was fine. First they tried a doppler to listen for baby, but I ended up get a vaginal u/s. They did hear great blood flow to the uterus with the doppler though. I have a regular u/s scheduled for the 30th. They just couldn't find anything wrong with me. I don't know if round ligament pain is the catch all, but after reading a few articles online about it, it sounds right on. I've noticed if I sneeze or cough, I get a sharp pain. I've noticed that it is alot worse on days when I am really active. I have started to watch my posture alot more as well. I also found a site that will give you info on exercises you can do that will help alleviate the pain. One of which, which works really well for working out gas (Sorry TMI) and relieving some of the pain is to get on your hands and knees. I put two pillows under my chest and then lower my head to the floor with your butt in the air. This seems to really bring the pressure off my back where I have been getting some of the constant pain.

hey ladies...sorry I haven't updated y'all yet.  We have been so busy this weekend.  We were about to go to the ER when I just said forget it.   I figured if i am miscarrying there isn't much I can do to stop it and I have an appointment for an ultrasound on Thursday so I couldn't justify spending $175 at the ER.  I am still having the cramps on and off.  They aren't severe but are painful at times.  I am trying to drink more water and I'm going to take some peri colace today to see if that helps any.  Thanks for all of your thoughts,  also I haven't had anymore spotting.

I have been having simiar pain too, but no blood. I posted in another topic about this as I was worried. Today I finally went to the ER because the pain felt like it was getting worse and it comes often. The doctor didn't seem to worried about it at all. She said that if there was no blood not to worry, and even if I did have some spotting that it may be normal.  She suggested me doing a urine sample for infection and some blood work to test my hormone level. I am supposed to follow up with my regular doctor. I have an appt on Tues so I'm sure I will know more than because my doc was gonna test for a heartbeat on that day.

I was not impressed with the doctor today. I wish she would have done some type of exam for peace of mind. What kind of tests did your doc do nikko? Did they do an ultrasound or a physical exam? I get my pain even when I am sitting or lying down.

I hope everything is fine with you Rachie and that you are experiencing round ligament pain as well..

I have been having the same problem since last Thursday. On Friday, I was so worried that I went to the ER. They ran all kinds of test and everything was just fine. They told me that I was getting round ligament pain. I rested the rest of the day on Friday and I felt much better on Saturday. I spent most of the day doing housework today and this afternoon, the pain has returned. I was also really active on Thursday when the pain started. I was reading about round ligament pain and it said that increased activity can also make it worse and to try taking it easy until you find the right level of activity so that you meet a happy median of sorts. Did you get it checked out? Maybe you are also having round ligament pain?

Please dont worry!  I have cramps frequently that are like menstrual cramps, they can actually get quite painful at times and my baby is fine. The doctor just said that it is my uterus hurting because it is growing so quickly. Please let us know what you find out, but I am sure that your litle one is fine!

Mild bleeding is very normal after having sex, there are many tiny blood vessels around the cervix that can rupture during intercourse.  I'm sure you're fine, but might want to still get things checked out.  Keep us posted and good luck.
