I've had 2 babes; this is my 3rd and by my experience, little ones arrive when they're good and ready unless there is professional intervention.  I tried everything the day before due date with #1 and I just got hot and flustered and sat on the loo most of the day.  He came of his own accord the following day.  #2 was induced medically - this one will be also, unless they come on their own before due date.  Don't believe all the wives tales about castor oil and so on.  Have fun trying, but they'll just make you uncomfortable!!

please let your body induce labor on it's own...if your due date calculator is right you're only 32 weeks 6 days?? While yes babies can and do survive before 36 weeks quite frequently, you do not want to try to induce early labor unless your doctor has indicated a medical need to. You need to be at least 36 weeks before most doctors will allow you to continue delivery; in other words, most doctors will give you medicine to stop contractions even if you manage to start them this early. If you're desperate to have this baby before 40 weeks talk to your doctor/midwife about getting a medical induction and they will help you deliver SAFELY.

Castor oil, raspberry leaf tea, lots of sex (so they say) and going for a long walk.

I was late with DS and remember drinking a lot of tea and walking like crazy to try and get things going - and I still needed to be induced at 41 weeks.
