How is everyone doing?

Babies, still waiting? How is everyone doing? My baby girl is 11 days old now, she's doing great. Her umbilical cord finally fell off so we're looking forward to giving her her first bath today!

I think my little girl is getting a cold, too, she's been sooo fussy today, and she has conjunctivitis in her eyes so she's getting eye drops, poor girls!!

Yeah she went back today and is up to 9lb 2oz so she is better the doc was pleased. I just cant believe it took 7 1/2 weeks for her to gain 2 lbs because of being sick. :(

Mine lost a lot this time, too! Must be because I'm breastfeeding her and I did supplement some for my son, they lose it so quick!

crstl11, I hope your little girl starts feeling better! wasn't she born around 7lbs? Did she lose a lot of weight after she was born? Chloe lost about 12-14ozs and is about 9lbs10zs now as of her last visit.

My baby girl is 16 days old. It was an adjustment to get used to parenting but every time I look at her precious face I forget that I haven't slept barely. I love to dress her up pretty :).

That does stink!! What bad timing for everyone to get sick, I'm not enjoying having a baby during flu season/cold season, that's for sure, I'm so afraid she's going to get sick!! Hopefully you all feel better before your little man comes!

Still waiting...I'm 40+6. Was supposed to schedule an induction but my dr has the flu and there isn't another ob to go to. So I'm stuck until I go naturally (which I prefer but apparently cervix is still closed on the inside and high up), until my dr recovers from the flu, or until I hit 42 weeks and they have to induce me with whatever dr is on call at the hospital. I'm ready to hold my little man, but since everyone in my house is really sick, I wouldn't mind waiting until all the antibiotics have run their course. I foresee a lot more waiting in my future...
