Should I change my doctor?

I found a doctor as soon as I found out I was pregnant .. which was 4 weeks 2days . They've known ever since. Some appointments we would repeat the same thing at alot of visits and he'll ask the same questions. So I'm about to be 12 weeks which is almost out of my 1st trimester, they still haven't given me my 1st trimester ultrasound. I look on this forum and see so many ladies knowing how their little ones are doing and how they're growing & my doctor hasn't looked at my stomach once! I feel like I'm falling behind because of my doctor's little care, would it be wrong to change him?

I think u should. Because its like u have the cake but cant eat it. Im sure ur dying to see ur baby as wud I. And if my doctor wasnt providing me with reassurance tht my baby is ok I wud have him changed asap. Maybe u shud try asking him ?'s like why dnt u do this why havent I seen my baby. Some doctors don't do U/S's til 12 weeks, it's pretty common and honestly, I would MUCH rather of waited..there is SO much more to see, you'll know for sure everything is going great, etc. All I saw was a line, not that fun! Most doctors appt's are repetitive, they do the same thing every time for me, but only you know what you feel comfortable with, if you'd rather a more attentive doctor, switch! But do it soon, the earlier the better, some doctors won't take patients after a ways into their second trimesters! Good luck!
