stay at home mom or working mom?

I have deciding if id rather work after i have my baby or stay at home. I would really like being with her full time but i also think keeping my job wouldnt be bad so i can buy her stuff. Financially, we could live with my hubby just working but i make pretty good salary and it would put a dent into our fun money. What are your experiences with each?

I've always worked after a year maternity. Its nice to work part-time, ft after my 1st child nearly killed me lol childcare is quite expensive but if have family to help then why not? It motivates me and helps hubby too

I am a stay at home mom and have been for nearly four years...after this baby I want to go to wrk because I think it would take stress off of me for the simple fact I sit at home all the time with my child. Plus I would like to help my hubby buy stuff for the kids as well.

I would love to be a stay at home mum :( unfortunatly i earn the most wages (which are pretty crap!) So after my maternity leave (which we r lucky in the uk to get 9months paid) ill be going back to work, tho not at the place im at now as the hours wouldnt suit me at all as i work nights!

I'm a stay at home mom, and honestly, I'd rather watch my child grow than anything. We also lost some fun money when I stopped working, but it's so worth it to have full time to bond with the baby, you could always go back to work after a while, and I think you'll find with a newborn there's not much time to spend the fun money anyway, we did. Maybe take a maternity leave and decide from there?
