Birth Story....
So ladies here it is....
On Thursday i went to the ER per my dr to be checked bc my face was swollen and i threw up twice. I had been saying for weeks my baby wasnt moving 10 times in an hour maybe 3 or 4. They never gave me an ultrasound. So i told the ER dr and he gave me an ultrasound. I was right something was up....my fluid was low!!!! I was almost 3cm dialiated still and having contractions also. They told me i couldnt leave they were keeping me and inducing me. I was relieved bc i felt like crap and i knew it was time. From Thurs night at 630pm til Saturday at 130pm i was in a room where they gave me Mizo (sp?) Pills to try and prep my cervix for labor. It was a long boring process of taking 5 rounds of pills at 4hr intervals. By Saturday morning the dr checked me and my process was low, nothing really had changed accept maybe being more effaced. I was still only 3cm. Although our hospitals food is fantastic and we watched tv on a huge flat screeen in our room my husband and i were board and over it (although watching extreme cheapskates was hilarious and we laughed our butts off) finally they got me a labor and delivery room at 130pm Saturday and started the pitocen by 2ish. They said it would be a little long. Contractions started to get worse fairly quickly so i got an epidural at 330pm i relaxed and at 8pm the dr checked me...3cm and 80% effaced. They said baby probably wouldnt come until between 2 and 5am and get some rest. So my husband his mother and i all went to sleep. Well guess what...at 11:15pm my eyes shot open and i felt like i either was going to poop on myself or push a baby out bc the pressure was intense i was numb so it didnt hurt but i felt like i had to take the biggest poo. I hit the nurses button freaking and said you need to get in here now i am gonna poop or have a baby now!! My husband heard me and jumped up out of a dead sleep needless to stay the poor thing got light headed from getting up so fast. I was begging the nurse as she was trying to find the dr to please let me push the dr seemed to takr forever so the nurse checked me her head was right there it was time....so i started yelling at the nurse let me push let me push finally the dr came in took one look and said lets roll its baby time. It was 1130pm i started pushing i gave 4 big pushes and then felt like i was going to throw up and literally my husband held a barf bag and i puked my baby out...no joke. She was born at 1146pm on Jan 9th. Amara Rose was 8lbs 11oz 20in and was so chunky and beautiful. Its work but the best feeling in the world. Good luck Girls xo

Congrats hun I'm still at 2cm still waiting but not over due yet so that's a good thing. I love the name btw it's very unique and pretty:)
Yes she was i was shocked my son was only 7lbs 4oz so i wasnt expecting that big. Yeah we are all well. How are you?
Omg what a story! I'm so happy she was healthy and chunky! 2 more weeks to go for me. Congratulations!
