Exercise

Hi there! I have been doing T25 Focus for 8 weeks and if you don't know it's kind of intense, really gets your heart rate high and it's high impact. I just found out I'm four weeks and wondering if I should do something less intense? What has been your experience?

I haven't checked on-demand yet, but I think they have a pregnancy section. I am in the same boat about feeling tired all the time. Im in the middle of my 7th week, so hopefully I'll feel more up to activities soon.

Thanks for your comment!  Are the pregnancy workouts on demand or is there a specific program I can get?

I am part of beach body as well. My coach said there a pregnant workouts on the website if you have access as well as just moderate workouts. And with the 21 day fix as long as your average for calorie intake all you need to do is increase your daily calorie intake by 300. I'm 6 weeks and I'm so exhausted its unreal. I'm just watching what I eat and walking when I can. Until I build my energy up again.

Thanks! Glad to have another Beachbody fan! One coach recommended switching to Piyo. So I might try that. Have you?

I recognize the program... I have been doing the 21 day fix and once I found out I scaled back on the really intense moves to the modifer. Not sure if that helps at all but everyone I have talked to says to just listen to your body...if it feels too intense then switch out to the modifier but being active is important and will help you in the long run. Best wishes on a safe and healthy pregnancy!

From what I've found it's better to decrease the intensity, especially during the first trimester.  It isn't easy bit once the fatigue sets it all makes sense. Lol

I used to do a similar style of circuit class but once I found out I was pregnant., my doctor said to stick to low-moderate intensity exercise particularly for the first trimester. To be honest I've been too tired to even think about doing those classes!
