I had my U/S today

So I had my u/s today and Jeremy weighs 7 lbs and 12 ozs. He is a big boy. My dr still wants me to have a reg delivery I'm still at 3 he said that will change over the next few weeks. My dr briefly stripped my membranes today and said if I'm still pg next week he will do it again and it will be alot longer and more painful. Ouch. Today I came home and slept it was very very painful. I have my app next tues so at that point there will be a plan in action! I'm hoping either way to have my lil on or before my due date! I'm extremely uncomfortable so it will be nice when this is all over and I'm posting up his pics!

I am glad to hear that little man is doing good. :)
I hear you about being extremely uncomfortable. It's been like 108 here with the heat index. I can't even go outside without swelling up like water balloons. lol

Jen- Long time no chat! How are you? I can't imagine 108 all we have had is rain the past few days have been the sunniest we have had in over a month...Guess what it's doing now? RAINING! LOL. Thanks my big man ha is doing good he is going to be a big boy! I love the big babies tho they are so cute and chubby! How about you when are you due and what is your body doing? Have you started to dilate etc? It was so great to hear from you keep in touch I hope you feel better soon!

Looks like you really dont have that far to go. Im sure you'll go into labor soon!! I never had my membranes stripped when I was pregnant with my 1st. Im guess b/c i had a planned c-section b/c my daughter was breech. My daughter was 7lbs 3 oz when she was born so if hes already 7lb 12 oz hes going be to nice and chubby. I too love the chunky babies. :D

AP- my boy is big too!! Dr said about 8 pounds right now..... kinda scary to have to push that out. Im getting nervous but want him so bad. What does it mean when u say they are stripping your membraines??? I bought some castor oil today cuz i read it could possibly help induce labor since it cleans out your bowels, and i have been pretty constipated. Have u ever heard of that working??

I haven't got checked to see if I have dialated any. I go tomorrow so maybe they will check. I have a scheduled c-section for July 23rd. So atleast I have that date to look forward too.  
As of last week I was 36 weeks but measuring 39. I've only gained 16.5lbs so far now.
It was raining last week, and I told my son that we were going to have to run to the car, and he said that he will run behind me just incase the baby falls out, he will catch him. haha          6 yr olds can say the darndest things some times.

Ready for baby- Ya my dr wants to do it again next wk if it doesn't work this week. He is quite confident it will work I guess he has had much success with his previous patients that he has done the procedure on! Thank you so much.....I love them chunky too!

Stormy- Stripping the membranes most dr's do to help induce your labor it's in in office quick procedure while they check your cervix they kind of pull your bag off your uterus to help the water to break without really breaking it. It's not a guarantee it will work it's an alternative method to medicine for induction. When you have had prior c-sections dr's dont' like to induce your labor due to the scarring that is caused when you have a c-section. I'm trying to think positive and hope that it works! We'll see! Good luck to you wow 8 lbs you are having a biggy like me! I'm nervous too about pushing out another big baby! Ouch! Good luck and keep me posted!

Jen- The 23 rd was my due date when I was a baby it's a great day! I'm so jealous you have only gained 16lbs wow I have gained 78. Have they guesstimated the weight of your baby? I wish you the best! Have you picke a name out? Keep me posted!

wow, you're almost there! My dr tried to strip my membrane and I jumped so high off the table that she stopped everything, she didn't even check my cervix to see how dilated I am... It hurt like heck!!!

so, no stripping for me, and after going to urgent care last night for a jabbing pain in my lower abdomen, I am officially 1 cm dilated still... and I'm almost 41 weeks!

I can't wait anymore, this is getting too long...

I'm going to name him Caleb Bradley.
they have not gave me an est. weight or anything. I kinda think my doctors are slack compared to everyone on here. lol
I might ask today what does she think about the weight.
Well I got an appt in 30 mins so I better go ahead and leave so I'm not late :)

Isabella- This is why I love this forume every dr is so different mine won't strip membranes unless you are 2 or more centimeters. It didn't hurt me during it, it's the aftermath I'm still paying for between the pain and spotting and he wants to do it again next week and he said it will be longer and hurt more...Ouch. Oh ya I asked him about prim rose oil etc he told me no way he doesn't want me to get sick. Did it work for you?

Not long to go now! I wish they guestimated the size of your baby here. I just get the fundal height measured and everytime i ask how big they think, they said they don't like to take guesses as it's usually wrong. Frustrating. Also i have never been checked to see how my cervix is or if i'm dialated. I feel like Australia is way behind the eight ball!

Tiger- My long lost friend how are you? I hope it's not much longer. I would when you have your next app to have them check your cervix. Def you are right behind my due date! How are you feeling? I'm ready honestly! I feel like anyday now but everyday goes by and no baby! Ugh! It was so good to hear from you....I will ttyl. Keep me posted!
