Hey everyone,
Last week i found out I'm having a girl, and i can't decide on names. It's driving me insane. I love the name Isabella (bella for short), but i looked online and it's the #3 name in the country. So since my mind was so set on that name, i'm having a hard time liking anything else. So i thought maybe i could get some suggestions from you.
Or should i just ignore the statistics, and just go with the name i really want?
I would suggest that if you really like the name then that is all that matters. It doesn't matter if it is a popular name or not. Good luck! Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
I tend to agree with Kels---whatever makes you happy. But I know the conflicting feelings, I'm the same way, I don't want a name that there will be 5 of in his or her kindergarten class, lol. So in an effort to get your brain rolling over some possibilities, here are some of the ones on my list:
- Annabelle
(i used to love isabelle and isabella too, then i heard this one and it just sounded so sweet and innocent, but still sophisticated. it was so similar, yet different enough to be uncommon--and bella still works as a "for short")
- Delaney
- Shiloh
- Ainsley
- Whitley
- Hailey
- Reagan
- Laurel
- Lanie
- Georgia
- Genevieve
- Savannah
- Marley (the "trendiest" of my picks, i'm not a fan of trendy!!)
- Shelby
I think Isabella is very cute. I really like Izzie for short. I havent found out what Im having yet, but I started to like the name Olivia if its a girl. I seem to change my mind every other week though! Its hard to make the commitment. My son wasn't named until he was 2 days old. :)
hi i really like olivia but my husband does not like it, we are going for bethany theresa rose if its a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys girl. bethany because that is the only name we both agree on. theresa after my favorite aunty and thas my middle name and rose after my mum. ah if its a girl!!!!
