falling when 29 weeks pregnant

I was walking down a short set of stairs this morning that were wet from last nights rain and my foot slipped out form underneath me.  I was holding the rail, but still went down hard onto my butt.  I am not cramping or bleeding, but my baby is moving a lot more since then and my side and back are aching slightly.  I think my back and side are aching because I was holding on pretty tight to the rail when I slipped and I may have pulled the muscles a little.  I was just wondering if I should still let my doctor know that I fell???  if I should be seen anyway?  any suggestions??
