OH my God, talk about one of the worst pains ever! I haven't had them since I was pregnant with Noah but I have started getting them again. I usually only get Charlie horses when I am sleeping but I just got one sooo bad. I had my feet propped up because my legs and ankles look like tree trunks today and all of a sudden my leg cramped so bad. I looked down at my feet and my toes were all crooked and stuck, ugh it hurt like h*ll .
Anyone else getting them? Is there anyway to prevent them other than upping my potassium, I already eat bananas.
Yes. They are wicked bad when I lay down to go to sleep. I get my lil man not kicking me but I swear he is n there doing kungfoo..LOL And then I have such severe charlie horses nights are the worst! Yuck and ouch!
I have been getting them too..My ankels and feet and calves are so swollen all the time, it stinks and lately I have been wakeing up to chalie horses. I also have had severe, severe RLS..(Restless Leg Syndrome).
Me too! I don't remember them 5 years ago with my daughter...but this time...sooooooo painful! I find if while I am sleeping, wake up, stay in bed and stretch my legs out that instantly my calves start screaming and it hurts so badly...I wonder why this seems to be common in pregnancy? But yes, I'm with you all!!!
I don't get charlie horses but what's driving me nuts is the fact that my arms, hands and hips have been going numb quickly at night. I toss and turn much of the night because of the pins and needles feeling.
I've been getting them too. The only time in my life I've ever got them is when I'm pregnant; I agree, carebear, I wonder why??
I try to eat a banana everyday, guess i'm gonna have to start eating TWO. = )
