Bleeding after sex

I am 13 weeks pregnant.  Today, while I was having sex I got a slight stomach ache.  Immediately after sex, I didn't notice any bleeding.  About 1/2 hour afterwards when I went to the bathroom, I had a fair amount of blood on my tissue.  It was more than spotting; kind of as if I had my period.  I called the doctor on call and she said I could either wait and see if I stopped bleeding or go to the emergency room.  She explained that I might have broken a blood vessel and didn't seem too concerned overall.  It has been over 5 hours now and while I have no crampinig, I have slight spotting still.  Has anyone else dealt with this?  Should I be calling the doctor again?

Yes but make sure you call your dr and get into have an examination. I'm going through the bleeding and I'm on pelvic rest for 3 weeks. Good luck!

I would say it is pretty normal as long as the bleeding doesn't continue for much longer. If you are still spotting tomorrow I would maybe call the on call nurse at your OB's office.
I also get cramps after having an orgasm, I was going to ask my OB about it but I'm sure Darkestlight is right, it's normal.
You're past the scary part of pregnancy now so I really wouldn't worry too much.
Take care.

the stomach ache is more than likely from a orgasm, i get pains after that too. It makes ur uterus tighten and contract. Bleeding after sex is normal.
