Blackmetalrose- You are so lucky! Jeremy's belly is just awful. I have to get his forumla by prescription thank goodness it's like almost 30 $ a can! Jeremy has the Alimentum .He just has horrid acid reflex. I would love to try him on new juices but his stomach is too sensitive. He does good w his food tho.

It's just the 6 - 24 month formula, it has extra calcium in it.  Kaylee was on the similac sensitive for the longest time, but her tummy started not liking it so much.  So we switched her to just regular similac, and then when she hit the six month mark we just switched up to the older formula.  But with this formula they have to eat more solid foods.

Kaylee drinks about 4 ounces of pear juice a day, but it's 2 ounces pear juice, and 2 ounces water.  Apple juice gives her pains in her belly so i give her gerber pear juice.  She's on the similack go and grow formula now, and she loves her water, but only drinks about 4 ounces of it. She seems to always be thursty, so i try and mix it up a bit for her, i've been giving her the pear juice since she was 7 months old, but she's been drinking water since she was 6 months old.

Pretty much the same thing here.  Cash has been getting water in his sippy cup since about 6 months.  He's not great at the sippy yet so he doesn't really drink that much.  I have put a couple of ounces in a bottle though before for him to get rid of the hiccups.  He too prefers for me to hold a regular cup for him so he can drink that way.

I don't give Jack water much. Only sometimes after he's eaten some Gerber wagon wheels or puffs, yogurt melts, etc. because in my mind I'm thinking when I eat cracker type foods I get thirsty! Ha. So after he munches on those in his high chair, I'll usually fill up a sippy cup with water, take the lid off, and hold him and let him have about 1/4 of a sippy cup worth. Jack LOVES drinking out of cups...not sippy with the spout but drinking out of a cup with no lid (while I hold it for him). He squeals in delight and leans forward for more and makes excited noises! He just takes little sips. Half of it winds up down his bib and shirt! But, he gets some down to wet his whistle!

Hey girl how are you? Yes Jeremy's dr said he could have 4ozs a day of apple juice but I don't give it to him that much he has very very bad acid reflex and gag reflex as well. I have given him flavored water. He is old enough now but it's all in how your baby's belly is and if it can handle it! Jeremy still doesn't do that great w the sippy cup and he can't get used to any other bottles but the soothies and they are very wide and thick so he is having a hard time gripping it to hold it himself. he's a little boy that knows what he wants....LOL.

I have given Joel water starting at about 5 1/2 months to start a sippy cup.  He doesn't drink a lot but it does help with constipation when he is eating solids.

I have been giving Medina some water since she was around 6 months but she didn't really drink much. It has only been since she turned 7 months that she drinks a bit but since about a week or so, she definately drinks more water but usually after she eats, but it varies between 40 - 80 mL. I was told a baby shouldn't drink too much water (water intoxication).
