Heart rate and gender prediction

Hi Ladies,

Went for my 19 week u/s today.  Unfortunately, they don't tell you the gender here so I am curious as to how accurate you think heart rate is with gender prediction.  They say higher with girls, lower with boys.   With my first, the heart rate was over 150 every appointment and I had a girl.  This time, the heart rate has been between 135 and 138.  Have any of your babies had lower heart rates and it was/is a girl????  Just wondering.  I can't wait to meet this baby.

My baby's heartbeat has always been in the 150's-160's and I did the Chinese calendar as well and it said I was having a girl. I just found out today that I am having a boy! My doctor told me that the only old wives tale that actually has some truth to it is the fact that women that are having boys tend to have less morning sickness.

I have thought girl from the beginning (although I hope for a boy)...

The heartrate has been around 158 and the Chinese calendar says girl, too.

I find out next Friday whether they are right or not!

It is hard for me to tell how I am carrying.. strangers are usually better at this than I am.= )

You know what is funny, my entire pregnancy I asked these questions. I have a girl already and her heart rate was about mid 150's - 160's the whole time. This time around, the heart rate fluctuated from 149-152 and I found out its another girl. Last week at my ultrasound, it was 133. So you really can't go by that. I wanted a boy in the worst way and thought the heartbeat mattered, but it doesn't.

My daughter's heart rate is always around 160 (I am 23 weeks)  I also did all the wives tales and the Chinese calendar, and they all came back a girl.  I always just thought she was a girl too, intuition?  There is also perhaps some truth that if  you know the time of conception and when you ovulated, that you can determine if it is a boy or a girl.

baby is face down today.  I am not sure about my belly.  I think I am more out front than watermelon (I'm not very big yet so it's a little hard to tell).  I have done the ring on a string and it came back girl.  Chinese calendar...girl as well.  So, I think I'm having another girl.

My son's is the same between 135- 140. You can't always go by the hb. Did you do the chineese comception calendar and od wives tales and how are you carrying. Look at my pic and DkL's see who you look more like. Sorry DKL but D looks like a watermelon I look like a basketball. Let me know what you come up with...

Hugs,
