How many ounces are your LO's eating at 4 months?

Just a quick question that we cover all the time, but how many ounces are your LO's eating at a time?  I supplement and plan to start weaning even more.  Colter is just now finishing 3 ounces every 4-5 hours with just a touch of breasfeeding inbetween sometimes.  He looks like such a chunky feller but can't figure out how he is getting so big since he doesn't seem to be eating as much as others.  Oh, he is 4 months and 14 pounds on our own scale.

Dani- I am in the same wavelenght then yu guys, James is not much of an eater, he takes 3-4 ounces every 3-4 hours, and he seems to be thriving well, when I took him yesterday to the docs, at 17 weeks of age he is weighting 16 pounds and a half, so I guess he is going to be just a tall skinny little fellow like hi sdaddy and me, so I guess they are doing well.

Thanks everyone.  It does seem like Colter eats alot less, but you sure can't tell by the way he looks LOL!  Seems weird, but I guess I will find out when I get him to his 4 month appt.  I can't wait to start him on some cereal just to watch him eat :)

My Son is 4 1/2 months old and is eating 7 ounces every 3 hours (Breastmilk).. I don't give him any cereal yet, as my ped recommends not until 6 months, but we think we are going to try him next month. He weights 19 pounds 5 ounces. My ped said give mommy a pat on the back for supplying such a good supply. I said Yeah mommy!!! I continue to hopefully breastfeed for several more months to come.

Cash is 4 1/2 months and is just over 18lbs with clothes. He has a bottle every 3 hours and drinks 6 oz each time.  He does this 5 times a day (Similac Sensitive) for a total of 30 oz.  My ped gave me a chart that recommends 24 - 30 oz a day for 4 month olds.  He also has 1 tbs of oatmeal and 1 tbs of bananas with his late morning bottle and and 1 tbs of rice ceral and 1 tbs of bananas with his supper bottle.  He LVOES to eat!!  But lets me know when he's had enough.  Cash is tall - i guess - 80th % for height and 95th % for weight.
I'm with those above - as long as baby is happy, healhty, and gaining appropriate weight - I wouldn't worry.

My little London is 4 1/2 months and is 15.8 lbs with clothes on. He has a bottle every 4 hours or so during the day and takes 6 oz's with no problem! He also eats a small jar of baby food 2x a day along with a serving of cereal for breakfast and a serving at bedtime! It seems like a lot to me, be he seems to like it and want it! He is in the 50th % for weight and 70th % for height. Maybe he will be a little taller rather than shorter I guess?! Hope all is well for everyone!

Wow!  6-8 oz!  Hmmm,  I have to supplement with the most expensive kind of formula so I guess it is good he doesn't eat that much LOL!  Colt gains weight just fine somehow and they are happy about his weight, well that was at my 2 month appointment and he was in the 30th percentile and looked chunky.  I am thinking he may just be short :)
I will ask them when we go for the 4 month, we are traveling in a couple days so I am going to wait til we get back.  No one wants to risk a cranky baby after shots for a 900 mile road trip!
Thanks so much for your response :)

Jack is 4 1/2 months and usually finishes 6-8 oz per feeding of Enfamil. He eats 4-5 times a day...usually 5 times. So, I guess between 30-40 oz a day. Sometimes he only eats 5 oz of the 8 oz or so. I'd really say it ranges between 25-40 (at MOST) a day. Ped told me avg. is 1 oz. per 2 lbs. Jack is 16 lbs so 8 oz is about right per feeding. BUT, ped really doesn't care so much about how MUCH he is eating but rather if he's gaining weight. If your LO is gaining weight with what he is eating, then I wouldn't worry about it at all. A couple months ago, Jack was spitting up tons of his bottle. I was concerned, but she wasn't because he was a good weight. If he was underweight, then she would have been concerned. I think every baby is different and if your bub is satisfied with 3 oz. and is gaining weight, then that's just fine! :)

Have you talked to the ped? Does he/she seemed concerned???
