Update about my BIG u/s!

Everything went great today, I saw my sweety baby sucking his thumb!!! The risks for down syndrome are VERY low so I am good!! I was just so excited to see him move and kick around! My symptoms are long gone, I am not nausious anymore and eating a lot! However, still not gaining any weight :( I have a belly but no bump yet! The baby is 3 inches long already, so cute!!!

I had a solid 12 hours of vomiting and diarrhea starting at 2 am.  Followed by 12 hours of exhaustion, fatigue and nausea.  In an ultrasound they can visually tell how much fluid is surrounding the baby.  I hope you feel better - I lost only 4 lbs but got it all back within 2 days.
I try to keep positive by saying... at least I know it's over!

I called my ob and they don't want to see me before my appt...which is in another 2 weeks and not an u/s!! so I just very much hope that everything is ok...
how long was your stomach flu? Im still fighting it, barely eating :( I lost 8 pnds...try to drink though..im not vomiting anymore but still very nausious and can't get up from my bed... how did they check the fluid?

I had the stomach flu too - I had an appt. a few days later and everything was fine - baby was a good size, fluid was good and the little one was very active.
Dr. said that the stomach flu - as long as you rehydrate - won't effect the baby -

Thanks! I wish, I caught a horrible stomach flu and believe that i have been dyhidrated for the last two days...today I can keep my water down and I regret i didn't go to er...I hope my baby is fine.....

Yeah, I don't know if that's a boy or a girl ...we kinda want a boy plus I have this feeling its a boy but I don't want to think about it too much because I want a healthy baby!!! I am glad that the first trimester is almost over and I have another 6 months to go!! :)

daniell- I think she just said "his thumb" because it is easier than saying "his/her" every time, I do the same thing.
