Ways you can tell your getting close to the big day!

I'm a first time mum and would love to know if there are any indications that tell you that the big day is coming up! I'm almost 38 weeks but don't feel like anything is going to happen for ages.

is it possible to have only some of the symptoms you guys listed and possibly go into labor tonight?? Im so sick of this im going crazy. The past 2 days i have had period like cramps in the front and back....and nausea.... but thats about it. What do u guys think are the chances of me having him in the next few days?? Im 39 wks.... please tell me hes coming tonight lol

I wish I had bloody show, then I would feel like all the cramps, loose stools, etc really meant I was almost done LoL.

Tiger- Hang in there girl you will have your baby soon probably before Kim and I...LOL!

Kim- I agree out of nowhere it seems like every sign of labor just appears on one day.....I have yet to try pineapple the acid at this point I think would be enough to kill me!

crysi- They are awful the leg numbing cramps I don't know what hurts worse that or the burning bowling ball feeling I have in my pelvic area or the feeling like someone is punching me in the top of my stomach! Yuck it all stinks! That is about the only thing I don't have is bloody show!

I hope they are! I have all of them except the bloody show.
AP I hate the leg numbing cramps, they are really annoying when you are driving standard LoL.

Symptoms can start hitting you in one day though! I was told by a women on here to eat a BUNCH of pineapple, then take a long walk, and I did this and am starting to get contractions, so if it works I'll let you know! :]

Thanks Kim and AP. I really want this baby to come sooner rather than later but i know i just have to wait! He or she will come when they are ready. None of those symptoms for yet so i guess i might be waiting a while longer :0)

I agree with everything Kim said except one thing my dr mentioned was the fact that I was having leg numbing period like cramps that is a sing too as well as severe back pain! Good luck I hope you have your lil one soon! Keep me posted!

All the symptoms I've had (and my doctor is CONVINCED I'm going to go soon) are;
-loose stool/diarreah, going to the bathroom more frequently
-an extreme increase in white creamy discharge
-flu symptoms (nausea)
-contractions becoming more intense/regular
-pink discharge/bloody show
-losing your mucus plug
Hopefully labor comes soon for you!!
