What games/toys/songs do your babies like?
Just thought I would post this question as I thought we could share what toys or games or songs our babies like most, and maybe try some other games other Mums play with our babies.
So Medina loves taking clothes pegs and plastic cups out of a plastic bowl. She loves banging the plastic cups. She has a Chicco Farm which she loves, with wonderful colours and funny sounds from the animals, great for her fine motor skills, as she turns heaps of knobs. She has a small pink glitter ball which has a bell inside, she LOVES that, crawls after it everywhere. It was initially meant to be for one of my cats!!! She also loves peek-a-boo, or when I put something over her face and pretend I can't find her (kind of hide-and-seek). When I do, she smiles at me and finds it so wonderful and she feels really special. She loves her Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Learning Table (it's in German though), especially the spoon, pretends to eat with it. She also loves I'm going to catch you, and I go crawl after her, sometimes she crawls away. When I hide some objects (clothes peg, ball or my face sometimes) under a cloth, she loves taking the cloth away and getting the objects, repeatedly and repeatedly .............
She doesn't seem to want to clap at all! I try and try, sing with her esp. If your happy and you now it....', nothing at all. Itsy bitsy spider, Three blind mice, Baa baa black sheep, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star are her favourite songs.

Kaylee has tons of toys, she likes her drum set and her stack toys, but of course she'd rather play with mommy's cell phone and remotes more. She loves being in her exersaucer but gets tired of it after a little bit. She'd rather play on the floor with us. Shes becoming very mobile so I have to keep a very close eye on her, or she'll go chasing after our cat autumn. She loves twinkle twinkle little star, the barney song, and Rudolph the red nosed reindeer. She used to cry if i sang her any other song besides ruldoph. She also loves being read to, i think thats her all time favorite thing
Iliana loves her vtech crawl ball and her moraccas (spelling??). those are the things she plays with the most although she has other toys around her. I sing to her and Anika on a daily basis. Some songs are the ABC's, Itsy Bitsy Spider, You Are My Sunshine, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star etc. I also read nursery rhymes.
She isn't crawling yet but sure trying. Not ready for her to take that step. I am enjoying her being immobile.

Jack loves his Leap Frog Scout singing dog toy/stuffed animal. You can plug him into the computer and he'll sing songs incorporating the baby's name, etc. Like it sings, "Me and my pal, Jack. We like to do everything together...me and my pal, Jack, we're the best of friends!" Ha Ha. Yes, I know all the songs by heart at this point. So cute.
There is a purple version for girl babies named Violet. The cool thing is there is a button on his bottom paw, and it is for night time. And it can play either 2, 5 or 10 minutes of bedtime music. And it goes "Snuggle up Jack!" and then plays songs, lullabies for bed.
He also loves his Fisher Price Little Superstar: Jammin' Band Piano. The keys light up when he hits them and there are cute little characters that go "doo bop bop yeah!" when you touch them too.
Jack LOVES his old school cheap plastic stack rings. Yes, the cheap little plastic rings you had as a baby that stack on the yellow pole. He hasn't really figured out the whole putting the rings on the pole part, but he loves to gnaw on them and bang them on the floor.
Oh, and I got that Circo blow up wobble lion at Target last week. This thing cost $9 or so and it was a great buy. Jack thinks it's pretty awesome and he punches at it and it comes back to him. It's about 2 feet tall. You can't blow this up by mouth. I had to use the air pump that came with my exercise ball! If you don't have one of these, don't get this lion! They should write that on the box!!! If you do have a pump already....get the lion. It's pretty cool and cheap.
I will say what he doesn't like. There is some green little ball that has a dog face on it, it's plastic and there is a chord you pull and it cackles and wobbles away. It's about the size of a baseball. Jack hates it. He literally starts bawling when I pull it out. I don't know why it scares him so badly!
*** any babies crawling yet? if so, was there any type of toy you'd recommend to get the bawl rolling...errr crawling? ha ha. i should be careful what i wish for! ***

Joel is a very active baby and loves lots of things. He really loves his Sophie the Giraffe its the one thing that really makes him happy any time. He likes to play with his vtech crawl ball and his train that sings music. He also has this pink and yellow ball that has nubbies coming out of it that he likes to chew on. Joel likes to play peak a boo and whne we are doing it he likes to guess what direction we are going to come from. He loves any songs that you sing to him. That is the only way I can get him to sit still for diaper changes. Joel also gets very frustrated that he can't crawl yet. He reaches for everything especially things he isn't suppose to have like the cell phones and changer.

Jeremy loves playing in his exersaucer and watching Franklin it's an adorable show about colorful animals and they touch on subjects like sharing and friendship it has music it's just so cute. Jeremy will play on his activity blanket a few times a day but gets bored easily on it! When he's a toddler it turns into a tunnel it's cute. Jeremy loves to do bouncy bouncy on my lap or dad's lap. He loves to go for walks but the weather is just not cooperating! Jeremy loves music and loves to be sung to! He is not doing much with feeding himself etc but he reaches for everything the clicker cell phones etc. He knows his name and knows our names. He loves meal time! He knows when it's time I feed him in his bouncy seat and when I pull it out he laughs he gets so excited! He is not a fan of belly time he gets annoyed that he can't crawl but I still have him do it a few times a day! He is so big that his activities may be delayed my dr warned me it's nothing of concern I went through it with my oldest both of my boys are huge my oldest was not sitting up until he was 11 mos and didn't start walking until 15. My dr said my oldest will be about 6' 4. So my guy is following in his big brothers footsteps I don't see Jeremy crawling anytime soon, LOL. My chunky man! All the songs you sing I sing to Jeremy my dh looks at me like I'm nuts but I love it! The baby gets so excited! Jeremy's favorite song is I'm a little teapot and skimmamirinky dinky doo, and itsy bitsy and twinkle twinkle! LOL. He has a big music range! I love it I'm having so much fun! I'm a big kid anyway!
