What's new with baby?

I haven't been on here in quite a while and was just wondering how every one's baby's are doing? What can they do now?

Lochlyn is almost 10.5 months (he is such a late July baby LoL) He is crawling, cruising, pulling himself up, feeding himself with hands, drinking from a straw, clapping, waving bye, HATING the word no, and making many sounds and his favourite word is "Mama" especially when he can yell it at me. He is a little hulk, he screamingly grunts and his face goes red and his body tenses when he gets angry or wants something, I call it "hulking out" it's cute cause it doesn't last long. He has a HUGE personality. If he does something silly (like leaning over and gulping up water from the pool) and you laugh he giggles, looks at you and does it again.  I'm sure there is more but I can't think of it LoL.

Also Lochy was a late crawler, he had all the movements but refused to do it, and I am wondering when to expect him to walk on his own (he can walk now if he is holding onto something or you)? He has all the muscle to do it, just lacks a little balance. When did your baby crawl, and when did they walk?

Hey everyone, the time sure does fly!

Lilly's birthday is actaully 6th August - she was 11 days overdue but decided to stay in this forum as i knew everyone!

Lilly doesn't look tiny but she is just over 16LBS. She is very independent and loves interacting. She has just started to watch TV and dances to the music!

She can crawl, walk the furniture and stand by herself.
She waves, blow kisses and never stops talking!
She says mum, dad, nan, pup, no and shakes her head and she says mmmmmmmmmmm when she sees food and keeps getting louded until she's given food!

She drinks from a sippy cup but i still breastfed.
She can now self settle herself to sleep for naps and her first night time sleep (i thought the day would never come).
She doesn't sleep through the night which i'm working on! I've cut out all her night time feeds which is beginning to help.

Lilly loves feeding herself bulky things like biscuits, meat, cheese, bread, fruit and vege but still needs to be fed with other pureed foods.

She is a really happy baby who is beginning to sleep more!

I can't believe she is nearly one!

Our babies are growing up so fast. James birthday July 8th, so he is getting closer to his 12 m mark. So far this are some of the things he is doing:
- Crawls like a mad dog
- stands up alone and takes 5-6 steps then drops to the floor and crawls again
- Not eating baby food anymore, now he eats, pastas, chicken chopped in pieces, ground beef, crackers, hummus, beans, chickpeas, fish, millet, brown rice, etc, not our food bc he eats earlier then us.
- Pointing with index finger
- Knows and says two spanish words, one in english. Says papa and mama all the time too.

Things James is not doing:
-walking much
-drinking from sippy cup or straw.
-falling asleep on is own, still have to rock him.

Cash is very independent as well these days.  Doesn't really want to play with us for very long before he goes off to do something on his own.  He too is 23 lbs!  He was born July 1st though.  Cash could walk if he wanted to, but he walking doesn't go fast enough for him, so he drops down and takes off crawling!  He is so fast!  He cruises around holding onto everything though.

jenkaye21 - Lochlyn was born July 30 and is also 23 lbs! LoL must be something about that date...

Lochlyn LOVES playing by himself. He likes if you read to him or play with him but not for long. He is so independent :( :)  He likes playing catch. He is actually pretty good.
What do you guys play with you baby's?

JT is one of the older July babies. He can clap, wave, walk, crawl, climb, get into everything. He will finger feed himself, he shakes his head no but doesn't like it if we tell him no. If there is anything else can't think of it right now. JT started crawling at 6.5 months but didn't really crawl fast till 7. He took his first steps at 10 months 1 week but didn't really taking off till about 11 months! Lochy sounds like JT because JT had the muscle strength he just didn't want t, so he may be walking sooner then you think :-D

Cooper was born july 30, and just started crawling today!  He is a lil brute, 23 lbs, so that may have something to do with it.  He can stand holding on to something, but no attempts to walk.  Drinks from a straw and a sippy cup, still only says Dada (he's said Mama once or twice, by accident while babbling, lol)
Cooper's personality is very loving, sweet, usually easy-going but can get mad quick! if he's not getting what he wants.  Goes to bed around 7:30 pm and sleeps til 5:30 or so, sometimes I can give him 4 oz of formula and he'll sleep antoher hour or two.

Joel is also a late July baby and is 10.5 months old.  He can crawl, cruise, pull-up, walk when holding on to fingers, drink from straw, clap, wave bye, feed himself, shake his head no and lots of other things I can't remember.  He has started to whine when he wants something and expects you to know what it is or get it for him.  He loves to take things in and out of bowls and jars.  Joel was an early crawler but has yet to start to walk on his own.  I thought he would be walking early bc he was crawling early but he is just satisfied crawling for now. :)
