teething

Any suggestions for a teething baby who is up at night?  We tried tylenol, cold teether, rubbing belly, and then just giving him a bottle.  Any other suggestions that have worked for you guys?

I would try baby motrin. I honestly don't like giving tylenol etc to Jeremy but if his teeth were affecting his sleep I would def use it. Also baby orajel and freeze the teething rings. Luckily knock on wood Jeremy has not been overly fussy with his teeth more spitting up and restless. His cheeks are so red. Just wait until the 2 yr molars come in ......Yikes. Good luck I hope your LO feels better soon.....

I was just about to post something on teething. Jack is 9 months today and still has no teeth. But in the last week he's had really bad diaper blow outs, is drooling like crazy and has been unusually fussy. He's normally very easy going and all weekend he was like a different little guy. VERY CRANKY. It was unlike him!
I washed my finger and tried feeling his gums for any teeth but couldn't feel anything unusual. I don't know what's going on - if he's sick or getting a tooth or what! Hmmmm.

kaprovea- Girl, I know what you are going through, the month of February was crazy for us, James was up for the whole month every 1-2 hours at night, crying and wailing. I remember asking the same questions on this forum. I was so tired taht I felt liek at breaking point.
We bought teething tables, the gel, tylenol, motrin, cold cltoh, camilia, and anything but it was crazy. The only thing that it helped a little bit was an over the counter teething medications that it helped him sleep, it an homeopathic liquid I gave him at night before bedtime and he was able to sleep a little more. The name is K.I.D.S 0-9 teething, you can buy online or we bought it at Meijers a grocery store.
My nights have never been the same since that month, he still wakes up now but only twice at night.
Hang in there and just hold him and hug him at night because he is pretty sore and in pain from cutting teeth and don't forget you are doing a great job mommy.

Have you tried Hylands teething tablets and/or Camilia??  Camilia is a calmer.  You can use the two together.  You should also talk with your pharmacist.  He/she may have some ideas.
