Well I guess they have to start somewhere! Good Luck!
35 plus weeks, I was wanting to make it to 37 weeks but I don't see that happening. The dr said my contractions are not regular enough or doing anything to cause me to change fast enough to take meds but they are not Braxton hicks, He called them irritability contractions.
Glad to hear all is well - oh the progesterone shots cause GD - I guess I should go get that done....I was told to fast 2 hours before the test and I keep forgetting and having my morning coffee.... I guess I will go do that tomorrow. I am so glad things look good - so they think the end of May.... how many weeks will you be then?
Wow c-section #3 are you scared or a pro:) I just got back a bit ago and the hosts did bring on contractions but they came and went. SOme got pretty hard but I was not even given the terb, actually they said it is the same thing as brethine which I had with my others but brethine is the generic name for it. SO at least if I ever was to go on it I know what to expect. My cervix has not changed since last week which is good but I have to start going weekly now and they expect him to come the end of this month. We shall see I guess:) Oh and the hosts made my blood suger go up so they started me on meds for that now nightly. NOt likeling that on top of everything else. Oh and he said that I have GD from teh progesterone shots. That progesterone casues it to rise and the insilin not be absorbed right. Scary but I don't ahve long so I am trying not to worry about it. Henry is good and growing and still liking it in there too:)
So far all is good - I wish you the best today - and pls let us know how everything turns out... it seems that she turned on her own - she is head down now.. creating more pressure but at least she is comfy!! I am having a c section - I had 2 in the past and they will not do a VBAC after 2... Good Luck
It sounds like the doctors are on the ball tho and taking care of you. I hope you can make it long enough to where you can take the baby home with you :)
Wow, gosh I hope I do not have contractions like that!! He said I will go super fast as my cervix is so soft already. I want to make it till the end of the month at least so he can come home with me when I leave. But like you said they will give me meds right away to help. Yeah I would not want the vaginal checks considering your already dialating!I have had the shots with my second and third but was never put in the hospital but that was 11 and 10 years ago. THey helped me 30 weeker come home in just 14 days! So I am glad they are finally giving me them. I ahve had painful contractions alot lately and was waken up by then the other night. I had 6 , 5 min apart then they stopped. You ought to ttry to turn the baby now , do you think? Remember I crawled and he turned after that. I don't know I would nto want you to do to much and really go into labor but unless they are planning a c-section maybe she needs to turn. Well I go to the OB right when I get released and get an us and finally DH will see him again, hasn't since we found out he was a boy at 15 weeks. Well I have been thinking about ya and I will let you know how it all goes for me,
Hey - hanging on by a thread here!!! Sweetie - you will be fine. I had the shots for the lungs a week ago - and they did not tell me about the contractions and such and I did not ask why they admitted me - but it all makes sense now. I had the shot at 11:00 pm on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning at 9:00 am my contractions were strong and less than 5 mins apart. They put me on endocine for 48 hours every 6 hours I got a pill - which helped so much - I was really crampy every 5 hours and the pill helped. Because the endocine creats low amnio fluid they kept me a few days longer - then monitoring her heartbeat caused more concern because it would drop for mins at a time.. but all is okay - they know what they are doing... for you as well!! I am about to jump in the shower to get another us for length check.. they did not do a vaginal us while i was there to check the length - which probably does not mean much since I am dialated.. I also feel the baby soooo low.... but from the last us she is bottom down which I think does not create as much pressure as your situation. The shots last 2 weeks for the lungs... so you should be good. And let them know how far away you are .. they might keep you a couple of days longer seeing that you DH would not be able to drive just to make sure all is okay before you go home... Best of Luck!!
