If it is testing for testosterone, wouldn't it be more accurate after the first trimester? In the first trimester our bodies produce loads of extra hormones to support our pregnancies. After the first trimester then the placenta does the job for us (which is why the morning sickness goes away).
I'm so impatient I bought the intelligender test tonight. The results are between 87-90% accurate. I'm just doing it for fun at 10 weeks :)
It works by detecting testosterone in your urine. If it turns green, it's a boy. If it stays orange, it's a girl! I have to wait a few more days before trying it though.
I'm definitely going to find out. I'm way too impatient to wait.
Hello Ladies I am new to this community. I am 9 wks today and I am definitely going to find out what I'm having. This is my 2nd pregnancy, I have a 3 yr old daughter named Alyssa. She wants a sister and my hubby wants a boy. For me it doesn't really matter but I have to plan!! So finding out the gender is not a question lol!
Finding out as soon as they can :) Chinese calendar & old wives tales are pointing to boy...
I definitely want to know...especially if it's twins. I don't think DH and I could wait until delivery day to find out. Maybe it's because this is my first! :)
I definately want to know. I want to be able to decorate the room and have a name picked out, i cant wait. Im a very patient person but for some reason I just cannot wait! Too much suspense!
And so we have-
Maybe not finding out-

Definitely not finding out!-
???
Well I found out with my first, and didnt with my second. I dont know what I was thinking the second time around because it drove me mad in the weeks until the delivery. I carried #2DD much different than #1DD so I wrongly assumed I was having a boy lol This time with #3 Ill definitely be finding out again. My bf really doesnt want to but its been a long span in between our children (will be almost 12 yrs when I deliver!) so we have to start from scratch. Id rather not buy all gender neutral stuff but thats just me.
I have to know too..I can't wait for the day I get to call my baby by his/her name! Plus I'm not much of a "neutral colors" person. I have to have all pink or blue :P
me and hubby say now that were not going to find out but im sure that by the time it comes round ell cave but id like to have it as a surprise but just dnt think itll happpen lol
I really want to find out the sex but hubby doesn't, will discuss it closer to the time but I'm sure he'll come round to my way of thinking, lol ;)
I definitely have to know..I started calling my baby girl by her name from the moment we found out she was going to be a girl, and I felt so close to her. I think being able to call them by their name instead of "baby" or "it" is so important to the pre-natal bonding experience, but that's just me :).
I am without a doubt finding out what these babies are. Especially with have 2 babies - i need more planning!
I am definitely looking forward to the day. I want to know what i am having. To me it makes it all seem more real. I want to be able to have everything ready and knowing what im having makes it more fun!!
