Well, the month we've all been waiting for!!!  How is baby prep going?

1.  Is your hospital bag packed yet?
(mine = no)

2.  Is the nursery ready?
(Mine = almost)

3.  Is the carseat installed?
(Mine = no)

I am due in 4 weeks and feel like there is still SO much to do!

oh my god...i nearly hyperventilated...i have 3 weeks left....holy crap. lol and to answer the questions no, no and no. lol our nursery is almost done, we have everything i think (except the breastpump which i am ordering now) but we just have to finish setting it all up and sorting everything into permanent places cuz right now my dining room is like a staging area and that has to change lol, and i have to get the house cleaned and organized. i wish someone has told me to do things sooner, i mean if the nursery is totally ready 5 weeks before the baby is here so what. everyone told me that i cant do this or that now because it was too early and now I feel like I'm being rushed. I'll have to post some pics of the nursery it's so stinkin cute. we have wood paneling halfway up our nursery walls so i painted the top half white and then I painted grass and we cut animals out of our valances (it's the Kids Line farm animal one, the older version) and we glued the individual animals to the walls in the grass so they're like touch and feel cuz they're fuzzy, it is stinkin adorable. My mom is still trying to convince me to paint an outhouse into it lol

No hospital bag packed yet, The baby will be in our room until we are able to move into a bigger place, crib is set up, clothes put away & room is painted a pretty bluish/green.....(Used to be a gross orange color) & The carseat is not installed, I am due in about 5weeks.......I better get a move on lol I hope I go a lil sooner......if im lucky I really better pick up the pace!!

No, half way there.

No, that is my shower gift from my sister and she comes when im 39wks, lol.

Im a little nervous since i had my daughter at 35wks 3 days but i passed that with this one so im hoping i go on my due date.

I am not ready at all, if i had to be im going to wait til last minute, get that burst of energy and everything might come together....or at least i hope it goes that way at the very least.

I have 6 weeks to go and I am not ready...LOL!!! The nursery is done, just need a mattress for the crib. My hospital bag is not packed and I don't even have a car seat as yet. I was trying to wait for my shower which is in my 38th week (what a joke...LOL!!!). My husband aunt decides she want to have my shower on July 10th and I am due July 25Th....I hope I make it...LOL!

I am still not believing she is coming.. yup - I am delusional not realizing she is coming in 6 weeks or less.  I finally put the nursery together - no on the hospital bag... and I have not purchased the car seat yet....They expect me to go early - but I have a feeling that this little one is going to torture me until the very end and we will have the scheduled section on July 20th...

everything is ready and care seat is in place already. I have been having to carry my bag to every appointment (OB) for over a month per dr request. Now this Thursday I go back and I am 3 1/2 cm and basically 100% effeaced from what they say so he wil most likely break my water and let labor happen. OCntractions are all the time but just slowly doing what they need to do. It seems like it will never happen to me but will hit me when it finally is happening I think. tomorrow I will be full term and I have never made it here before!!!! so happy to be here with you all!

I'm hoping to induce July 1 so the nursery (to include bouncy seats, swing, etc...) is ready except for a blackout shade. Washed all the covers & sheets and put items together and then covered them with blankets so they wont get dusty. Guest bed is made for mom so she can fly in June 29 to help with my older daughter. I have hospital bag for me and suitcase for my daughter riding around in the truck just in case my water breaks before then while we are out & about :) If we're at home there is other stuff I would add to my bag, but in a pinch (or rush for the hospital) it has all the basics.  Car seat cover is washed and put together (with a blanket over it to keep out dust). I'm going to leave it to my husband to install while I'm in the hospital - just need it installed before he picks us up.
One thing I haven't done (other than blackout curtains) is sterilize bottles and pacifiers yet. I need to look up if I can sterilize now or if it has to be done right before feeding - I'll be nursing at first, so I suppose there isn't a rush.
Hummm- think my nesting has been in full force??!!
I haven't been working though so I think I'm better prepared this time around.
Really all baby needs is a car seat, diapers & wipes, and boobs (or formula & bottles) and a couple of cozy outfits - if you have that you are ready -the rest is for less stress when you get home. :)

I feel so much better.  Hee hee. :)  And that reminds me. . . I also need to get breast pump accessories.  My sis just had a baby and is done breastfeeding, so she loaned me her pump, but I need to by all the accessories that go with it.  Hopefully this is something Babys R Us has.

I have 5 weeks left and my hospital bag is not pack yet either.  The nursery is almost completely, but I still have to wash all of her clothes and sheets.  I ordered the carseat, but I'm still waitting for it to come in.  I'm hoping to get everything done by the end of next week.  That's my goal.

No, No, and..um..no. LOL. We have everything we need except a breastmilk pump, but the nursery is filled with boxes soooo still have to unpack. Sigh. Luckily he's going in a bassinet so if he comes before the nursery is ready we're pretty flexible as to where he'll be sleeping. the carseat WAS in the car and all installed and ready to go...but we kept needing the extra seat for passengers so it was uninstalled and moved.

I had all of this stuff ready like 2 months ahead for my daughter I'm totally slacking this time but moving @ 33wks really really stinks.

lol you sound like your freakin as bad as me..lol i have 7 wks left an i know that is a few weeks awat but i never go full term. we usually go 2-3wks early. so lets hope this one wants to come out ealry too..lol as for my prep. it is really hard we are doing this pregnacny with out finding out the sex of the baby so im going CRAZY..lol i have a few girl things ready an a few boy things a boy name but "no luck" on the lil girl name. an
1) my hospital bag is not yet finished a few other items to add. lol
2)nursery ready, well we dont know the sex so its as ready as possible for what we are working with..
3)carseat installed, nope it is ready but not installed....
