Soooo Sick...Does anyone have any tricks to help?

I am almost 10 weeks and my morning sickness is now really bad. For the past couple weeks I would be mildly queezy during the day but not too noticeable. Then once 5 PM hits, I'm sick as a dog ALL night. I throw up at least once a night. I don't want to sound like a baby, but I am really getting worn out. Does anyone have it this bad?

One thing my husband did was buy a ginger route and holding a piece under my nose does help a little bit. But I still throw up every single night for the last few weeks.

Hey ladies, Ok i took the test, (it's a urine test that works by detecting testosterone if a boy)...but I am not sure about the results. By the window it looks like girl, and in the bathroom light it looks like boy. I'll post in a separate thread for opinions..

So what did the intelligender test say? How does it work?

Oh my gosh, I hope you did ok at the ball tonight! I didn't go to my work Christmas party last night because I was afraid of throwing up all night. I too have been living off of pancakes and cereal and found that nausea isn't as bad as when I would eat meat or sweets.

I just bought the intelligender test tonight, and supposedly you can find out what you are having with 90% accuracy at 10 weeks. I won't go painting a room or anything, but I just need to have a little fun because it's been grueling being so sick.

I hope you all feel better!

Oh I'm in the same boat - queezy through the day but it hits with force at night. I found if I eat very mild things (pancakes, toast, cereal, etc) for dinner & absolutely no meat & go to bed early I survive. Ginger ale & ginger cookies have also become a staple :) Going to a ball tonight - should be interesting being around all the meals!

Hm, yeah I heard B6 is good for that too..I don't take prenatals because they do a number on me too, but my doctor did say I was allowed to have kids chewables. They don't have as much but she said it was enough.
The other problem I'm having, and i'm not sure if anyone else is, but I have tons of gas...and it just sits there in my stomach distorting it (I can see it sticking out and moving around) and causing a lot of pain and cramping. The part i'm worried about is that I don't know if the gas will go away like the nausia. Sometimes that alone makes me throw up.

Im with you guys, its starting to get really bad with the nausea. I had some but never like this with any of my pregnancies. I haven't been able to keep much down but Im doing the best I can with it. My dr suggesting changing out my prenatals with another brand to see if it helps. Im also starting to do Unisom and B6 at night since the mornings are so terrible. OB said she would prescribe something for the nausea if it gets too bad :/

Thanks everyone! I haven't tried the Phanergan but maybe I'll look into that. The ginger ale is a good idea too, I'll try that one too.

It's kinda weird, but I found that sometimes smelling ginger from a ginger root eased the nausea a little bit.

I'm just counting the days till the second trimester. Still a few weeks left.

Lily, maybe some lemon gatorade may help if you can keep it down.

Try leaving some ginger ale next to the bed to sip through the night. Warm ginger ale isn't the most appealing thing, but it helps!

I am 9 wks pregnant and since week 7 I have had non stop morning sickness.  I throw up anything that I eat and drink, and it lasts all day long.  Sometimes I cant even work because I am constantly in the restroom.

I havent even talked to my doctor about it, but I have an appt on the 17th and I will mention something then.  If he tells me anything that helps I will let you know.

FYI I have tried everything from saltine crackers to ginger ale and nothing works.  Good lucl.  Let me know if you find anything that helps.

I'm 7w2d and I have been sick for about two weeks now. I absolutly hate all food and drink. My insurance won't cover Zofran so I'm miserable almost all day long. The nurse told me today if I don't find a way to drink more they'll put me in the hospital. I wish I had some advice for you..Out of 5 pregnancies I was never sick once until now. I'm usually the one who gains 5 or 10 lbs the first trimester LOL
Have you tried taking phenergan since it's at night when it's the worst? It works..it just makes you really sleepy.
