nursery furniture

Well we are getting furniture this week and it seems like the next step to this all being real. Even tough we feel movments this is awsome and makes me want to cry. I never had trouble picking out stuff before but now tith all the recalls I am paraniod!!! I am getting fixed sides cuz they say they are safer and taking the other ones off the market soon anyway. But there arte new brands I ahve never heard of, even car seats! NO more century!!! PLus I know I don't need all the things I thought i did when I was younger so there are jsut so many decisions! Plus we live like at least 2 hours from any major store but Walmart so we are looking online so if we do that we will not know what it is really like. Ughghh ssso stressful! At least I got the nursery painted before I got pregnant! NO fumes to worry about. Any one have the same problem or looked up recalls and what is best? We are getting a organic mattress and I am making the bedding but will mostly make those blanket sleepers and use the bedding for looks. We ahve money but I can not see spending hindreds on a crib! I guess I am cheap  and also stuck in the past:)LOL Well any ideas? We are doing natural wood

Yeah I know! We are all organic now in my family and it is so expensive for bedding and stuff so I plan on making it myself. Still Love the IKEA crib but they do not deliever the changing table or mattress and we are 5 hours away from one of their stores! Bummer but I am hoping my mom can pick it up and bring it to us when she comes to visit. Still exciting and stressfull all at once!

Im absolutely clueless on all that stuff!!! I do know like you do that a lot of it isn't really necessity stuff. I want a swing and a good highchair and crib, that sort of stuff. There wasnt even any organic stuff out when I had my last children! lol
