The only time you should be alarmed is if you get more than 4-6 in an hour, if they are painful or if you have spotting or if they are coming in a regular pattern. With subsequent pregnancies, you tend to get more. Drink lots of fluid!
I got them with my first pregnancy with my son and now I have them this pregnancy as well. Actually, I got them a lot sooner this pregnancy than with my first pregnancy, I find the more active I am, the more I get them and the harder they seem to be too! It's your body's way of preparing you for true labor - although braxton hicks have no or minimal pain associated with them compared to labor! As my pregnancy moves on, the harder, or more intense for longer periods of time, the braxton hicks become.
I didn't know that about the water. To be honest with you, I hate water, but anything for my baby girl.
meeee too! yesterday I had a ton! I almost started counting. mine haven't been painful just kinda take my breath away. Haven't had as many today but I've been making myself drink more water! I hear that can cause them if you don't drink enough!! :)
Thank you for your post...they're not regular. I guess it's just different. I've never felt them like this.
as long as they are irregular yes. If you can time them like contractions no. I have been having mines too. But they have been irregular come in go but I get them all during the day, evening and night no matter the time. My doctor told me to watch them and if they become regular come in quickly.
