I go by months as starting with the first day of last menstral period.. so mine was oct 20 so march 20 was 5 months exactly then the next day I turned 22 weeks so to me I am about 5 months and a few days.. still easier in weeks I think. Also a month is rairly 28 days which is 4 weeks so that's why I don't go by every 4 weeks is 1 month because then yes 40 weeks would be 10 months...

If you break it down to 9 months you are 5 months just entering your 6th month....
Your First Trimester:
1st Month = Weeks 1,2,3,4  
2nd Month = Weeks 5,6,7,8  
3rd Month = Weeks 9,10,11,12,13

Your Second Trimester:
4th Month = Wks 14,15,16,17
5th Month = Wks 18,19,20,21
6th Month = Wks 22,23,24,25,26

Your Third Trimester:
7th Month = Wks 27,28,29,30
8th Month = Wks 31,32,33,34,35
9th Month = Wks 36,37,38,39,40

I count back from my due date... i have 4 months left so i tell ppl im 23 weeks and 4 months to go...

I go by 4 weeks, I think its the most accurate :) & really 40 weeks is 10 months!

If u go by 4 weeks in a month u are 5 1/2
