nursing/period?

So my little one will be 6w on tues. I already had my 6w visit at the drs and was released. Lastnight my hubby and I were intimate for the first time postpartum and now i'm bleeding today. I am nursing but could this be a period? I feel a little crampy...but like I said...im nursing so i wouldnt expect a period. I do supplement one bottle a day...and the time varies...but only one. What do you guys think?

nursing never is a guarantee that you r not ovulating...and should never be trusted as a form of birth control with out a back up.... And for some woman it doesnt stop their period from comimg... with my last kid I gradually supplimented to the point where I was only nursing once a day a still didnt get my period till I had completely stopped. Everyone   is different and it can gi both ways

Could be your period but it also could be your body saying that it was too soon?! It took me well over 10 weeks to be intimate with DH with my first...the thought makes me cringe! But I tore bad with him and not as bad with this one but still tore.
I nursed my son and got my period back about 4 months later...I breastfed him up to almost a year and got it back that early...it was definitely a bummer!
