This is only my first so thankfully I don't have to run around after other children... but my boy has his nights mixed with days, sleeps great during the day but is totally different at night. He will stay awake from 11pm til 4am just wanting to be fed and held.... I actually look forward to 9am each morning when the good sleep pattern starts during the day. I try to sleep between 9-11am every morning to make up for lack of sleep. I was using Nipple Shields to feed and have only today weaned him off and back onto the bare breast which he seems to be feeding 100x faster and not being fussy, so we shall see how tonight goes. I haven't cut out dairy but I have cut it out right before bedtime to see if it helps. so far no luck... we'll see.

Mine is the same way. Prefers the boob. She wants on all the time and doesn't like to be by herself. She prefers to be held. She sleeps amazing during the day but at night wants to nurse, will fall asleep beside me (I side lay nurse her in bed) and she'll want to stay there. I'll put her back in her basinette and she wants to be back beside me.
I'm the same as Lesley...I have a toddler to be up for as well so I don't have much time for sleep. It's difficult.

My 2 girls are pretty different too :) my first was so easy and content... she slept great at night time, she prefered hanging out in the basinette kicking on her own and ate lots at each feeding with many hours between......... this one has her nights mixed bigtime, likes to eat way more often, sometimes every hour or less! prefers to be held when awake... she doesnt cry much but it does get hard when she wants to be held or eating from 11 to 3 or 4 am without sleeping! and i have a toddler as well to look after and am recovering from a csection so im already limited...

I couldnt get her to take a suckie until i started dipping it in gripe water and she will take it!! works like a charm! im sorry i dont have much advise either to give... i feel for ya tho! and i hope you find something that help...

All four of my babies have been different!! My second sounds like what ur dealing with right now! She came out screaming her head off!! She had a whopper of a temper....@ almost six yrs old she still does!! I only nursed her for a month because she was too impatient for my let down and we both got tired of every feeding time being a battle of wills!!! We both were in tears many times! At abt 4 months or so she settled down n our days were much more enjoyable. Sorry I don't have any great words of wisdom, just letting u know I've been thru it and I survived!!! Best wishes hun! :-)

How old is she?!?!? Just a thought. My sisters kids both had a hard time with being able to digest dairy if my sister ate it. She had to completely cut it out i order for her kids to not cry. And by crying just like you said all the time no matter what you do. It does take a few days to get it all out of your system but its worth a shot to see if it helps at all. With her first she didnt figure it out until he was about 4 months old but her second she just cut it out right away. I am sure you will get lots of feedback on this question though but good luck. Hope you figure out what she is so fussy about soon.
