Dark red bleeding after BFP

I'm pretty much freaking out right now and expecting the worst. I had a blood test on Friday, and hcg level was 4.8 (dr told me equivocal result). I took an hpt on Saturday and Sunday morning, both with clear BFP. I was super excited, until I started bleeding today (Sunday). It's not just spotting, I feel like AF is here. I don't have hardly anything on a panty liner, it all comes out when I use the bathroom. And it is a dark red to brown color. Looking all over the Internet, I keep reading that bleeding can be normal, but at this point I feel like I'm just going to have a normal period and not be pregnant anymore. Any advice would be appreciated! I would love to know if anyone else has had this and the pregnancy was fine, or if I should just move on.

I am 6 weeks and bleed as though i was on my period for 4 days. Same as you hardly anything on the pad and alot when i use the restroom. Had my hcg levels tested last monday and then again yesterday and they are going up which is good. I was very worried but so far everything is fine now

30% of women have spotting or bleeding. I had bleeding with my first pregnancy and got a scan and everything was fine.  try not to worry until you know more.  xx
