This is my 3rd pregnancy 2nd full term (first was still born at 22 weeks) with my little girl I had to be induced and I had an epidural. This time I don't want to be induced and I really did not like the feeling of the epidural either. Lately I've been looking into different birth options and water birth interests me. Is anyone one considering one or has had one?
My mother-in-law had one with her last pregnancy. (She had previously had 2 c-sections and one stillborn)
I personally am not considering it but she said it helped make her feel in control and she strongly encourages others who are considering it to go through with it. I guess I should add that there were no complications; her daughter was born a happy healthy baby who now, at 10 yrs old, is extremely active and outgoing.
