Thank you. That was helpful... I can wait 18 weeks.
Hi, I am RN and I specialize in cosmetic services. I am a LHR provider and it is very true that you can not laser while pregnant as there have never been any studies done on pregnant women and the effects of lasering while pregnant. However, once your bundle of joy is her you can start treatments back regardless of your breastfeeding status as it is not a contraindication. I recommend trying to trim the hair back with a eyebrow trimmer (they are around 10 bucks at most superstores or Walgreens) binstead of waxing. Waxing can break the hair off under the skin and the as the hair continues to grow it curls under the skin (ingrown). The exfoliating is great. Main thing not to do though is start in with twisters on the ingrowns. Chances are you won't be able to get to the hair and you will just cause a wound, increase your chance for infection and end up with a scar. On a side note, alot of women start having issues with facial hair during and after pregnancy as facial hair is very hormonal so you are not alone. Hope this helps and congratulations :-)
You can't get laser while pregnant. I had to put a hold on my treatments until after I have the baby. They even told me if I was breastfeeding they wouldn't do it either. I only had 2 sessions left but I have to wait now. I would assume that any reputable place would refuse to do it as well.
