My birth story
Water broke at 1:30am July 12. Got to hospital around 3. Labor did not progress like we were hoping for. I didn't dilate pass 5cm...we tried any and everything...i got potocin at 445 AM...they went as high on the dosage as possible which is †o 40, finally at 8 our doctor made the call to do a c section. I couldn't hold on anymore, I was so exhausted. We have a beautiful baby girl weighing 10lbs 3oz, no way she was coming the natural way. I was scared BC I've never had any type of surgery before, I am sore but am managing... Our daughter had to spend the night in the NICU due to low blood sugar, just for observation...can't wait to go see her!!
Did you have gestational diabetes? I do, and am a bit nervous about having a large baby and needing a section. Is this your first? Congrats btw and hope your lil one gets to come home soon, and hope you didn't buy too many newboen sized things;)
Thanks ladies!!! I am feeling much better today, getting my groove back..lol. Our daughter is still in the NICU, die to low blood sugar. So we are staying another night here and hopefully she'll get to come home with is tomorrow!! My original due date was July 21 but I was scheduled for an induction July 14th at 5am, glad my water went ahead and broke on its on.
Congrats but oh my goodness my 7 pounder made me feel like my butt was gunna come off I can't even imagine the vaginal birth of a 10 pounder. I'm glad u got a c section!
