I took zofran pills and had a pump for a few weeks. I have seen the commercial about it being linked to birth defects. So far all my ultrasounds have been normal. I wrote the info down just in case. Hopefully my baby girl will be ok.
I just seen an ad today about Zofran - saying that it's been linked to birth defects. I haven't been on this but I know ppl on here have taken it and haven't reported anything bad but there have to be enough cases where a law office is warning people of issues and asking for cases
I got prescribed zofran at 6 weeks, I'm now 19 weeks. Stopped taking zofran 3 days ago. My Dr didn't warn me or tell me to quit taking it. I took it upon myself to call my drs office and asked if they would prescribe me phenergan instead. Its really up to u if u want to take it or not. My brothers girlfriend was on zofran most her pregnancy and my niece was and is fine. My oldest sister was on zofran with both her children and my niece was born not breathing and my nephew had to have a blockage removed from his heart a month after being born. So I personally don't want to take any chances. Good luck whichever u choose.
I work in a pharmacy and there was no recalls on our zofrans/ondansetrons that we stock. When we get a recall it's usually on a specific brand and batch.
