Low lying placenta

Had my 20 week scan and was told my placenta is slightly overlapping the cervix and got booked in for 32 week scan but once home my friend said will mean I have to have a c section has anyone ever experienced this? Little bit worried, thanks

Hi, placenta was lying low when I had my daughter. Placenta may not remain low. Although mine did and had to have a C Section. These things don't bother me. At the end was handed a healthy baby girl. My recovery after c section was ok. And you can breast feed after a c section if you want.

Aww hope so Jodie just thinking I breast fed with my little girl and if I get a c section can you still breast feed, trying not to worry haha hard though :(

I had the same, you'll be checked again around 36 weeks, majority of placenta's move by this point. Mine did
