can they make a mistake ?

im happy weather my baby is a boy or girl as long as my baby is healthy , they did an ultrosound at 18 weeks and told me its a baby girl , can they be wrong ? im so excited to buy her stuff but everyome tells me to wait for my next sonogram.

There is a chance that they can make a mistake. My cousin was told they were having a girl, but it was actually a boy.  Typically, they do not make a mistake when they read the sonograms, as long as they are paying attention.

They can tell, but I would maybe wait. Was it Drs or like a 4d ultrasound place? There is always chance of mistake but congrats and enjoy!
