Yeah he said I could call about the results tomorrow. I dont know if you remember butyou and I had a conversation about this same test before. It came back neg before. What do they do when it comes back positive?
Oh yeah! You could even use Monastat7 OTC. Did he say when you will get your results back from the FF test?
That is nasty. I just got home from the doctor. He did a Fetal Fibrocation test. ( this is my 2nd one) he is also sending me gor a u/s to check my cervical length and get the weight and length of the baby. He also said that I have a yeast infection. Is the meds for it ok to take. Well he prescribed them to me so I guess they are ok.
Ewwwwwwwww......that is so gross, but usefull. I forgot how nasty that stuff looks..lol Very good example. Thanks
Thank you everyone. I have been having incresed contractions since I posted. I called my doc and he is having me come in. Hopefully everything is ok. I will keep yall posted.
I looked it up and a yellow or green discharge is a sign of infection. That should also be checked by your Dr. Infection can cause pre-term labor. Below is a description of the mucus plug found at babycenter.com. Hope this helps...
* You pass your mucus plug or notice "bloody show."
You may pass your mucus plug — the small amount of thickened mucus that's sealed your cervical canal during the last nine months — if your cervix begins to dilate as you get close to labor. The plug may come out all at once in a lump, or as increased vaginal discharge over the course of several days. The mucus may be tinged with blood (which may be brown, pink, or red), which is why it's referred to as "bloody show." Having sex or a vaginal exam can also disturb your mucus plug and cause you to see some bloody discharge even when labor isn't going to start in the next few days. In either case, if you see more than a few spots of blood, be sure to call your caregiver immediately because it could be a sign of a problem.
I lost my plug w/ my daughter and it was a brownish color (old blood) and gooey. My Dr induced me the following Monday.
right, like a big blob of snot!! You'll definately know when you lose your mucus plug if you even do lose it before labor. Mine came out with both of my other pregnancies 2 weeks before labor started. It is not stringy or sticky like cm, but really goopy!!
I don't remember every seeing mine with my daughter, but from what I have heard/read it is usually yellowish/greenish in color, looks kinda like snot, and may be tinged with blood. It wouldn't hurt to at least call your doc or L&D to be on the safe side.
Always better safe than sorry! Good luck!!
