sleeping positions

hi june mommies!!!  i haven't been on for a couple days and now i see we have our own space here!!!

well, my question is...  am i the only one that almost always ends up on my tummy while i'm sleeping?  when i woke up this morning, my tummy was sooo achy.  the only thing i can think of is the way i'm sleeping.  i used to stress out about it in other pregnancies but my doc at the time told me not to worry about it.  and last pregnancy i had a pillow (that i still have but can't use b/c of co-sleeping issues w/ dd) that prevented me from sleeping in awkward positions.  does this happen to anyone else?

Sleep?  What the hell is that?  It has been so long since I was comfortable enough and didn't have to go to the bathroom, or didn't have leg cramps at night that I actually got a few hours through the night!!  I think I am going to try some tylenol pm see if that helps any!!!

i actually get to use my pillow more now but only until dd wakes up and i have to put her in my bed for her to go back to sleep (yea, we still have got that changed yet!!!)  i just keep thinking its only 9 more weeks or so...  then the new thing will be i won't be able to sleep b/c of breastfeeding ds in bed!!!!!  :)

I do the same but also have a five foot bolster pillow to prop me up and stop me from rolling anywhere and bf hates it and says he ends up on the edge of the bed most nights!!! In the beginning it helped alot and i slept well but recently i have the cant get comfortable problem too!!!!

well i'm glad i'm not the only one who can't stay off their tummy!

joshua-  i don't get kicked as hard for it to wake me up b/c of my placenta being in the way (anterior).  which sucks b/c w/ all my other 3 i was always kicked that hard...  i miss it!

sfritz-  i guess i do the kickstand thing too!  i just need to stop though if its hurting me now!

degriffdog-  last pregnancy when i got my pillow dh and i would cuddle (or whatever!) and then when it was time to go to sleep i would get out my pillow.  it wraps around my whole body so there's no cuddling after that either!!!

Oh yes I have found myself more than once on my stomache. I also do the kickstand thing.  I also sleep with 4 pillows and it drives my dh crazy, because he likes to cuddle and he can't touch me. LOL!!

I try to roll over on my stomach all the time when I am sleeping and always wake up because it is just not comfortable anymore. If I can't get comfortable on my back or side I lie on my side and roll forward and let my belly be my "kickstand". I think for me that is most comfy!

As for the achy, my everything is achy now. ;-)

I like to sleep on my side but sometimes i find that i have rolled over a bit too much on to my tummy. I was woken up about 5 times last night because i could feel my little girl kicking the matteress. It is a very weird feeling, i think she is just trying to tell me to move or something like that. Has that ever happened to you??
