36 Week Update

So I just had my 36 week appointment. The Dr gave me an ultrasound and determined that baby is measuring 2.5 weeks ahead. She is still head down, and quickly running out of room. She is estimated to weigh almost 7.5lbs already. I lost 1lb and have awesome blood pressure, which is opposite of when I was pregnant with my son! lol Either way, the Dr suspects I will be going early, like within the next 2 weeks.
Just thought I would update. How is everyone else doing??

Mine didn't measure my belly either - I had an ultrasound as well and they checked the growth and did all kind of measurements on there, so I guess maybe that was why.  My little one was in the right position though - head down, bottom up.  I can't believe you are already scheduling your labor!  Sometimes it seems like these 9 months have snuck up on us, and then 2 AM rolls around and I can't sleep and it seems like I've been preggo forever!  ha!
Good luck girl!

I am 37 weeks and just had my visit. The doctor didn't check me, she didn't even measure my belly. But I am guessing the reason is because I also had an ultrasound that shows a lot.
SO baby is still in breech but at least growing fine (6lbs6oz at 37 weeks1day).
I schadule my labor - or moving of the baby into the right position for June 9th (39weeks)

No internal exam yesterday.  Just scheduled me for another appointment two weeks out and then I will start the weekly appointments.  I will be 37 weeks at my next appointment - so I'm guessing they will start checking me at that one, but we'll see...

Hello, I am going for my exam tomorrow, and also can't wait. They are going to check if my baby is still in breech, and I have a feeling she flipped. They also want to check baby is growing fine baceuse my last uterrus measurments were 4 weeks behind.
I had my Group B Strep test at 35 weeks. Now I am 37 and I am also wondering if I will have exam tomorrow - I am thinking I will, after all it's only 3 weeks left. Hopefully I will have good news to report tomorrow.

I'm not too sure if they will give you an exam. It depends on your doctor. Mine usually begins giving regular exams once you hit 36 weeks, just to check to thinning, effacement, dialation, etc. But they might give you an exam. I am not sure if you have had your Group B Strep test done, but if not, some doctors do it, and some have you do it yourself. But if I were you I would prepare yourself for an exam just incase! :)

Wow, bryanarae!  That is so exciting - almost time to meet your little one.  I go for my appt today (35 weeks) and will have an ultrasound - can't wait to see what they say. I haven't been to the dr since right before 34 weeks, should I expect a physical exam today??  I haven't had one yet.

Darkestlight - Girl - you sound SO ready and so does baby!  Keep us posted!

I am 36+5 weeks and my appointment today should my cervix is 5 cm and tightly closed. I cannot remember how much Baby Finn weighs but I am hoping he will be born under 8lbs. I still have so much to do so I hope I get at least 2 more weeks.
