Flutters or twins moving!!!???

I am 9 weeks pregnant and I have two kids already. I was sitting in the doctors office and all of a sudden I get this little thump in my belly. I know its not gas for sure. It did it every 15 mins. they do a heartbeat check next time. Do you think it could be twins? this never happened with my daughter or son.
