Where is everybody??

So - I guess everyone had their babes and deserted us! LOL!  I wonder how everyone is doing??

I think we're the only ones here...we must be too boring!!!!!! How's your bub doing? My Medina is really a darl, uncomplicated just like her Mum!! (Thank goodness because Dad is so hectic). She looks exactly like her Dad so German, but her personality is more like Mum (patient, uncomplicated, doesn't whinge, hehe).

She'll be 6 months on June 9th, is 69 cm long, around 7.5.kg (haven't measured for a few weeks so it's a guess). She can roll from back to front since end of 3rd month but other way around, well, she can't be bothered. She can't sit on her own yet, but I'm not worried about it, she gets heaps of tummy time so it will happen when she's ready. She moves herself on her tummy and brings her knees towards her chest so her bum goes up in the air so I'm guessing that they're the early signs of impending crawling.

I started her last week on carrots (home-made puree´) and am still BF, still have alot of milk which is great. She plays heaps on her own which I am proud of and doesn't use my breast to go to sleep as often. I let her whinge a little (3 min or so) and then comfort her and then she usually goes to sleep on her own during the day. Yay!!

What about your bub? Oh yeah, and we're starting baby swimming lessons this Friday. That's cool because she's fascinated by water, when I pour some on her hands, she tries to grab it. So cute..................

Well JT is doing great he just turned 5 months on the 5th. He was 17lbs and 26 1/4 inches at his 4 month check up. He is eating solids, sitting on his own, not rolling over whatsoever but his pediatrician said it could take bigger babies awhile to roll over. He can hold his weight standing, he even was on his hands and knees the other day rocking but he still has a way to go till he crawls. I love watching him grow.
