ARE YOU READY

In about four weeks we will all be off the forum and holding bundles of joy. Is everybody ready? Although it seems real to me I still can not believe that so much time has passed and he will soon be here to greet the world. Is everyone packed. Have you started childbirth classes if you need them? Have toured the hospital? Have you finished things at home? Are you ready? I know I am not, but I am not in any rush even with my c-section scheduled for June 1st at 8:15 in the morning. I worried with my girls lst time and this tiem I am just going with the flow. How about you?

Soooo ready... I am sore this time and tired. I just want to be able to cuddle both of my children and perhaps do that while laying on my back. (one on each side) I am sick of sleeping on my side!

I'm ready. My C-section is scheduled for June 1st at 11:30AM becasue my little bundle of joy wants to remain in the breech position. My baby shower is this weekend but I have been fortunate enough to recieve most the big items already. In the beginning it seemed like I would never get to this point and now that its so close I am in shock. Oh how our lives are going to change forever. In a beautiful way of course. My only hope is that she's healthy. Oh and also that she decides to spin her little butt into the proper birthing position so I can have a vaginal delivery. :-). Good luck ladies. May we all have beautiful birth experiences.

Hi all... Cant believe im 34 weeks already, but definately feel like im ready to give birth... The home is nearly complete just the way i want it, bags are packed, antenatal classes are complete, taking a tour of the hospital tomorrow.. so im nearly there.

Just waiting for my little honeypot to come into this world safely and healthily, no greater wish i have than holding my baby in my arms for the first time, all the anxiety and stress still plays on my mind, but my greatest prayer is for my unborn child...

I wish every single one of your'll a safe delivery and healthy babies... Best of luck ladies...

Finished the tour, the birth class is this Sat, and the Breastfeeding class is on the 25th. The nursery is at 80% the last of it will get put in after the baby shower next Sunday. Then I can finish packing my bag with his stuff and wash a few of his items. The ducts have been cleaned, we planted flowers in the yard ( not sure what that has to do with baby but this nesting thing is out of control), and the maids are coming for a deep cleaning in the next two weeks. Thank god for Half off Dept coupons! Found a deal for 3 hours of cleaning for 60 bucks!

Everyone in the family is ready for him to be here already. But all I keep thinking is HE HAS TO COME OUT!!!! I can't wait lol My only concerns are him latching on and coming our healthy and fine!

i haven't done a thing. I will probably be freaking out last minute and driving everyone crazy :)
I think after my shower and things are set up it will be more "real" and the pressure will be on at that point.

We have completed all our classes and taken a hospital tour. The nursery is set up. I am a first time mum so got s bit stressed a couple of weeks ago about not being ready. I have packed the babies bag and made a start on.mine but not yet complete and am waiting to see what I get for my baby shower in 1 weeks time. The things I have left to do is to get a car capsule installed and get my hobby to stop smoking and going out partying. I think he think its his last chance however I would die if I went into labour and he was out drinking and not able to take me to the hospital.

Not ready!  My countdown ticker reminds me of how little time I have to do all the things I should have done in the 2nd trimester when I actually had the energy to do them!  LOL

I haven't packed yet - probably will in a few weeks - I am due on June 12.

I took childbirth classes the first go round, so I am not doing any this time.  I HAVE toured the hospital - seems the only thing I have done to prepare - LOL

I have not finished things at home by a long shot.  We are supposed to get my son's new room ready so the baby can be in the nursery and not my 16 month old son.  But, we still don't have a bed for him!  I wish I didn't have to rely on my procrastinator husband for most of what needs to get done, but I can't do stuff like buy and move furniture - especially now.  I am really starting to stress, and when I bring it up to my husband, he just acts like I am nagging him...GRRR

@ Rhi315 if your nesting hasn't kicked in do not worry and remember as long as you get the basics you can get ready when you like. Some people just flow and I think that is best your hormones drive you crazy as it stands.

2Manderella@ You are ready and you are already a parent. No one knows how to parent your child but you. Go with your instincts. Never be afraid to mess up and be able to say I am sorry to your child. Remember this the first time your baby was a baby too. So you both are new at this thing. This is my third and he is very different, but I know in the end I am not perfect and I am definitely going to make mistakes. Heck I dropped one of my twins when she was a baby. She was fine and I learned a lesson. Take it slow and easy and I am never going to be perfect.

I am so happy to be Blessed. I can not wait for all the stories. I can not wait to see pics of bundles of joy too.
